2. Data collected

We collect the following data:

• Registration data: email, first name, last name, password (hashed)
• Profile data: avatar, bio, country, language, social links
• Transactional data: pledges, created projects, history
• Shipping data (only if physical reward ordered)
• Connection data: IP address, browser, dates

3. Purposes of processing

• Provide and manage the crowdfunding platform (contractual basis)
• Process payments via VIVID Money (contractual basis)
• Send transactional emails (verification, pledge confirmation)
• Send newsletter (only with explicit consent)
• Respond to your support requests (legitimate interest)
• Comply with legal obligations (accounting, fraud prevention)

4. Sub-processors

We work with the following sub-processors:

• VIVID Money payment processing (EU)
• Resend transactional email delivery (US, Privacy Shield)
• Hetzner Online GmbH hosting (Germany, EU)

5. Retention period

Account data is kept as long as the account is active. After account deletion, transactional data is kept for 10 years (French accounting obligations). Marketing data is deleted immediately upon unsubscribe.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights: access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability, objection. To exercise these rights, write to contact@fund2start.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

7. Security

We implement technical measures (TLS encryption, password hashing, environment separation, regular backups) and organizational measures (restricted access, training) to protect your data. Payments are processed by VIVID Money, PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant.
